OK, so i've got an mp3 deck in my truck and it fits about 150 songs per CD.

The size is "800mb" i think. I dont know much about computer, hate em. I think the DVD disc size is "4700mb"

Now, is it possible to make a data disc out of a dvd for mp3s, fit say 1000 songs on it and still be able to use it in my kenwood mp3 deck? thanks.

man,the most songs I've ever fit on an mp3 disc was 99. I usually get up to about 65-75 before my burning program says they're full.

I would love to have just 1 CD with all my tunes on it though.

i'd say just give it a try, blank dvd's are less than a dollar a piece.

no offense but dont get an ipod its overated junk. just get your self an mp3 player and get an aux input for the deck. some kenwoods even have the usb input. i bought my wife a mymusix mp3 player 2gb holds up to about 800-900 songs on it, and then you could burn it with wma because the file is smaller than mp3 and hold more songs. then thats like havin a jukebox in your truck and then you can carry it with you when your working on your truck are whatever else the hell you do.

just my 2 cents
