Ignirion Wiring..? HELP>>>04-23-07

hey everyone, I am waiting for an ignition to come in the mail and wanna mess around with the truck b4 i get it.. now i have the ignition wiring harness, what do i connect/jump to what inorder to turn it over/start it and keep it running?? thanks in advance

Tie black to white and touch yellow in the mix to crank it.

ok, well this saturday i went to go put in the ignition that i got from v8mazda4ever, which is in excellent shape i might add, and my old harness has more wires on it..... the one im pulling out has 7 contact points, and my new one has 5, one the white plug from my old harness there are 4 wires, green and red w/yellow stripe, red w/black stripe, and black, from the new one only 2 green, red w/yellow stripe, what should i do to make this work is the black and red form the old one a switched power?? or are they not necessary, mind you this is a 5spd and this new ignition is out of an auto... is the black and red just the clutch??? need help asap
