Yeah I'm not really wanting to do any more work, since I'm not really being paid to do this anyways. I got it all wired up though. It dims when you turn the AC on. Lol.

I like it this way you have less work with the vents this way and you don't need to see it every second anyway. Plus with it like this people looking in don't see it right away as well.

Is it supposed to flash when its installed? I've tied it into 3 different accessory 12V wires and I get the same results. Turn the key to ON/ACC and it lights up and shows the pressure, but the numbers flash. Turn the AC on full blast and it stops flashing, and dims slightly. Turn it back about half way, and the whole thing shuts off. Right now I have it tied into the clock. The clock isn't affected by the AC. I'm thinking maybe something is wrong with the AC? I'm pretty sure I don't have it wired wrong. Does it matter if all the sending units are hooked up?

Try using the cigarette lighter for the 12V. I pretty sure that its on its own circuit.

Isnt that a constant though? I don't want the guages on all the time, and I don't want to have to put a switch in between the guage and the power source.

Think the cigarette lighter is on an accessory circut. Not positive - BUT think I used to have to turn the key on to use the lighter. ( MANY years ago when I used to smoke - been quit for over 10 years now) hit it up with a multi meter or a test light.

I guess I'll check that out. That piece is a PITA to pull out. Lol.

you could always run a wire directly from the fuse box, take a fuse out, wrap the wire around it and stick the fuse back in. a little ghetto but causes no harm, and you could see if it flashes then.

or you could put some fatmat on it.
