i was wondering if anyone has this same problem. i just did the a/c on my truck and i notice that not enough air comes out of the vents, the blower motor does all three speeds but it doesnt seen like enough air is coming out. i checked the recylce lever and its closed all the way. and the air is coming out at 40 deg, but just not enough air.....
can someone tell what it could be?

thanks

if it sat a while its kinda gross but mice and or rats are known for building nests in you tubing to your vents.... just and idea if the air comes out smelling reall really bad i would be likely to check that sorry got side tracked writing the last post and submited it i was yellin at my son (10mnths) for chewing on my cell phone

Thanks for the reply, but no the air is not smelling bad, and the evaporator is new. i just dont know.... i'll try to look through the vents to see if there's anything blocking them....

the little flapper thingy on the side of the vents is it opened or closed dumb question but i figured id ask

I think they are set closed... i think... i have to check when i get home...i tried them both ways..still not enough, i remember a friend of mine had a b2200 and his air was kick a$$...

i can remember where the fan is located but.... if its easy to remove you might be able to pull it out somethign might have gotten in and possibly broke all the vanes off the fan

does anyone know if there's a stronger blower motor that i can install. i check all the vents and they seem to be fine. The only thing i notice is that the rubber thing that mounts on the firewall where the 2 lines go into the evaporator is not in all the way... its mounted kinda sideways...

how does everyone else's a/c blow???

If u r blowing 40 degree air, your compressor and dryer are ok,and so are you feed lines. You need to be checking 1.your blower motor inside the cab,2.the distribution ducts to be sure they are all connected, and the inside /outside dash control that lets u choose inside versus outside air which has the "flapper valve on it mentioned above.Sometimes insulation drops down around the fan motor blades and keeps it from attaining proper speed.A lot of times the distribution ducts will come loose and your feet are freezing and nothing is coming from the vents. Finally the flapper valve may be directing air in the wrong places.BJ
