stereo question

when it say dvd compatible does that means it plays dvd's or a dvd player can be hooked up to it?

i am looking at buying something like this...



or this one says it plays dvd



any of those worth a damn? i really would like to get an alpine but can't afford anything like that right now.

if your going to pay that kinda money for a head unit.... id suggest getting a flip out 7.5.. for around the same price and you will actually be able to see the movie playing..... i bought a Dual head unit like the first one..... it had a 3.5" screen.... was hard to see what was going on in the movie..... to small of a screen..... Dual sells a 7.5 flip out for $399

do you like the dual and does it play dvds?

this dual says it plays cds and dvds and is only 329. is it worth it?

its a no name company.... but it is quality for the buck... internal dvd player....

On th Dual brand 7 inch flip outs you can find a hidden bypass menu so you permanetly dont need the e brake sequence or wire hooked up. Did it on my buddies stereo.

I have had people who bought the Dual and were happy with it. I thought you were looking for a basic head unit before I clicked the link. I have a spare Alpine head unit in the garage.

personally i dont like dual. all i have used was some of there subs and werent pleased at all. everyone has different experiences with brands though. it just depends on how your experiences turn out.
