I want to swap over to a different bucket seat. I have seen several different seats that look nice in our trucks. I want to run some seats without head rests and semi-low back style. What fits and what is a PITA to get to fit. Oh and I plan on doin a traditional body drop next winter, so i will have to be able to shorten the legs of the seat.. suggestions...comments..

i put some sunfire buckets in one of my trucks and pulled off the headrests. took about an hour of fab work to get them to work. I'll take some pics and get them up here.

92+ honda prelude buckets will line both or at least one front bolt. that's what my buddy is running.

i had mustang buckets in my ext cab, just made a cross bracket to go on the factory ones, fit well, my reg cab has ones out of a 04 dodge neon r/t, black leather and all power, not much mods needed for the brackets

Of course they look better in a truck with grey interior, but they got a nice tweed fabric.

for the holes left by the headrests I just painted a couple of carriage bolts gun grey and stuck them in. As an added plus, they are pretty comfy

I had Eclipse seats in mine, but they didn't work out so well. I would just go with the stock seats and recover them.
