The wiring chart that I used showed the blue/white wire to be the power antenna, however I have also seen diagrams that say its for "illumination"

I wired it to the power antenna on my deck and now it will not power on. I've disconected it but still nothing. The security light on the deck blinks and it will eject a CD (all functions it is supposed to do when the car is off) but I can't get it to power on when the key is in the ACC/ON. I thought maybe I blew the 12v ACC fuse, but my cig lighter still works. I hope I didn't blow my deck, but it would be even worse if I F'd up something on the truck.

any suggestions???

thanks!

If you have "constant" power enabling you to eject the cd and for it to plash you dont have the acc hooked up properly, check for voltage there.... the bl/w wire is power antenna, and I dont think you have on on your truck??? so its not necessary to hook it up, CD players are very simple and straight forward and super simple to troubleshoot.. just pull out your volt meter

try hooking your power and acc from the deck together to a constant hot and if it works run the acc through a toggel switch

Problem solved. I had it wired up "correctly" according to the factory wiring color codes... except that my truck was wired wrong from the factory. apparently my blue/white wire is the 12v ACC wire. who knew.
