Heres a set up i did in my reg cab. I Dont have any recent pics, just some of the build. The box wraps around the seats, kinda like the old school corvetts. I'm going to do a fiberglass headliner to wrap around the amps. Hope theres no issues on mounting the amps upside down.

i would be more afraid of them falling and hitting me in the head. haha. that shit is badass bro. it didn't make your roof sag at all?

No sagging at all. There screwed by the doors and no where on the roof. If you look Im using two brackets that hold the dome light on ex-cabs. I was going to fab something. Then i was at a junk yard and one caught my eye. Theres strong and fits the shape of the roof perfect.
I feel safe they wont fall, but slamming the frame to the ground and bumping the bass...I might need a hard hat...lol...

how do you plan on running your wiring to your amps it can get messy

cool man. it looks pimp! goona look super badass when you get the headliner in. keep us posted.

I plan on running the wires inside the B?. pillar between the back window and the door. To cut back on the wires i might jumper one to the other. Or if im having power issues i will run wires up both sides. Then for the roof the headlier should hide it pretty good.
But this set up ruins my dream of a body drop. My head will be hitting the amp and my box wouldnt fit right. I can still do a stock floor drop.lol.

The only issue with mounting amps upside down is heat, instead of it rising up and out through the heatsinks it will be rising back up into the circuit board. If you can remove your bottom plates from the amps this might help give the heat somewhere to go so your amps aren't cooking and setting your girls hairspray on fire!!!

Thats a good idea. Should be easy to do. Thanks

Next paycheck will be rolling in here pretty soon, and I will use it to drop my truck and begin my sub box.

My average install. Amps on TOP the box are there for pics. only had 1-2100 and 1-225 hooked up to 3-PBX 15s, and 2 sets of P162s Components. Roof triple lined, flexed like no tomorrow. Dash jumped over 3 inches.
