door speaker wiring

how do you guys run your wires fro your door speakers? i ran mine along the hinge bar, but i keep cutting them. is there a better way?

use conduit or something. I got some blue mesh at advanceautoparts i used when i ran new wiring for the doors in my car. I also used heat shrink on each end of the mesh so the heat shrink slid into the holes i drilled and the mesh just scrunches up when the door is operated. i also used rubber grommets on the holes.

or get the billet door looms. I think autoloc has them

when you do this, make sure to make one hole about 3-4 inches higher than the other. This allows the wire to slightly twist instead of kink when the door closes.

or go to the junkyard and get some of the accordian fold tubing that is used on cars from the factory and run your wires thru that.
