its my turn to do door panels.....lol

ok so it was slow again at work so i started doing my door panels. figured id give it a shot since everyone else was doing theres. first pics are of my kick panels i just done last week.


ok heres the door panel. didnt think about taking pics till i already had the thing test fitted. i started out with some 1/8inch wood from home depot. cut it and made clip holes and such. i also added some courtesy lights from an old cadillac.

the hole had to be cut to clearance for the speaker. heres the speaker ring mounted on the door.

heres the pass door shut with the ring on

so then i took some speaker grille cloth and stretched it and glued it with some ca glue


here it is mounted

then i put some resin on it and some fiberglass mat



thats all i got so far. more to come. let me know whatcha think guys

yeah they stick out a bit. gotta watch those ankles....lol

sweet. i used to break into my own truck with a screwdriver when i would lock the keys in it (4 times,lol). Had to replace the lock mechanism every time,but my original key worked in each lock. haha. My master key for kermit worked in both my other mazdas doors and ignitions. haha. Weird.
