I keep seeing ebay auctions for replacement power window regulators with tracks. Was there a 87-91 b series with power windows from the factory? And if so, how much does the window track systems differ?

there was not a mazda offered with power windows in the us. the ford raider in australia is the closest thing. its basically a 4door mazda suv. the aftermarket power windows attatch to the window crank and turns that electrically.

And the Mazda Proceed in NZ had electric windows, looks just like my b2200 but in suv, doors look like they would bolt right up.
Has anyone tried any of the electric windows from the Mazda/Ford cars of the same era?
I know they share lotsa parts.

I was wondering the same thing, I have worked in car audio for over 8 years. most power window kits are garbage. Thats why i'm trying to search for other options.

You guys must be buying the cheap power window kits because I have had The Spal ones in my dawg for 12 years and have not one single problem...but as with anything the quality of one's experience also hinges on the quality of the install. Take you time and do it right.

i think it has alot to do with you taking care of it too. we sell the spal kits at work. it all hinges on the operator. if you hold down the switch too long, it strips the plastic gears that go on the crank area. its mostly the old people that tear them up. i guess their reaction time is a factor.
