hahaha,same thing my truck did.
Go down into the driver's side footwell by the pedals. Behind the radio bezel,you will see (well,more blindly feel for) the heater core. On the side of the heater core facing the pedals are two selectors with cables attached. One of them flips between fresh air and recirculating air,and the other flips between defrost and head/feet vents.
With the truck running,turn your blower on full blast and then play around with the 2 selectors and find the combination that works. I was good enough that while driving I could reach down and flip them with my hand,lol.
Good luck. I can't get any photos for you because I don't have a truck to photograph,but it's pretty straightforward.
Your problem may just lie with one of the cables becoming disconnected of broken from the HVAC controls on the dash. Word of advice...if you pull the HVAC controls out,those freakin cables are a PAIN IN THE ASS to put back into the switches.
