Ok this is how my interior looks, as I bought it from the previous owner.

I can deal with the wires, but it seems to me that something is missing. Am I right or wrong? As it sits, I don't know how I would secure a head unit to sit in the top of that space.

Also, the radio bezel/surround is cracked, so does anybody want to sell me what I need?

looks like the radio bezel on yours has been cut... shouldn't need anything besides a few short screws... i used stock brackets....

take a piece of 1/4 abs or mdf .make a square to sit in that recessed area ,measure hole cut out for radio, once you cut it out put head unit in ,and right underneath it make a leg for it to sit on from behind after you have it all made just re wrap entire piece to look nice ,or just wrap the pattern piece in carpet or vinyl ,or do some body work ,prime it and sem texture spray it to look like the factory piece ,any more questions just hit me up

That is way more work than I'm willing to put into this. I would rather buy the stock pieces I need to bolt a head unit into place. Anyone have this stuff?

Your best bet may be to gat a dash kit for a 87-93 mustang. It will cover the hole and comes with 4 screws to mount it.I used one in my 88 b2200 and it worked out great.

Works great and if you use the AI kit you get a storage pocket!

It looks like he is missing the metal bracket that mounts the stereo itself inside.
