alldepends on how much you wanna spend ,there are a couple companies out there making descent ones ,but if your going for killer boom ,do a blowthrough

im probably never going to do a blowthrough. but im looking to spend around 250-350...so how big can i go?

JL and RE make a pretty good shallow mount that can handle the kind of power you want. But I think they run around your total price range.

i had a nice setup in my 91 there where 2 12 jl w6's and i still had leg room and room for the amp in the middle.

how much room do you have back there? have you measured your depth? ive never played with a single cab but i think you have a decent room. there is a sub called the stereo integrity magnum v.4 it uses the xbl2 motor topology. (build for sound quality) it requires a tiny amount of space and like about 600-800 watts. and is a pretty shallow mounting sub. and they run 250 shipped i believe.

theres enough romm to get a decent sized sub in there i got atleast 1.5 cubes per sub with my w6's and they hit hard for being sealed would of got crazy with a ported box but no room. i think i am gona do a center console with one re ported so i have all the seat room still

what size sub were you running? you got any pics??

it was 2 12in w6's the first version i dont have any pics it was a while ago that i had that truck. they where rather deep subs the box went from the floor to the bottom of the window in a trapezoid kinda shape. if you really want to go ported make a console and put one decent 12 in it ported there should be no reason you can't get 3 cubes out of most of the console

I am running 2 New/OldSchool Phoenix Gold Titanium amps 600TI and a 400TI to mids . With 2 - 10s in the middle . Diamond Audio subs . I have tried almost all the others . Rockford shallow mounts are by far the best for price . JL Audio makes great ones , but really not for budget building .
