Body/wiring swapping!

I have an 89 b2200 with a weber on it. Im buying an 87 4x4 b2600. Im swapping the entire 4x4 body onto my bagged frame. My b2200 motor is fine and the 2600 has a knock. I want to swap the bodies without taking all the wiring out. Can I do this or are the harnesses motor specific? My wiring on my 2200 is kinda hacked up from the previous owner so this is why I want to keep the wiring with the body. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The chassis harness for the lights and all that are the same. The engine harness will be different but, if you have a weber you dont need any of the wiring thats on the passenger fender well.
