so yeah i had one layin around for my 9c1 project and thought eh... i'm drunk, LETS DO IT!
ya know y'alls jealous lol. oh yeah... TOLD YA I'D CHECK THE FITMENT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i took out my shifter and moved the console around and sat in there to figure out where i felt comfortable. had passenger seat out too cuz its been awhile since i cleaned it bein its my daily and ONLY ride right now. i had to cut a lil screw mount thingy off the bottom in the front of the console to make it sit flat. then cut a hole (made it a lil too big but i gots idears for coverin it) and set it in. first try, naw. couldn't fit a 16oz bud light in cupholders with shifter in 2nd, 4th, reverse. so i cut a lil more out and was able to move it back a few inches and it sits pretty damn good. i coulda just done away with cupholders and put shifter thru there. not sure yet as i like havin somethin to drink whilst i cruz. so i got her in and still gotta git a few spacers and bolt it in. its just a temp fit for now with cd books holdin it between seats. ok time for the pics!!!!

bracket in console. doesnt fit flush with floor but i'm gonna cut some spacers out and weld 'em in or weld nuts on floor. 2nd probly be best idear.

now thinkin bout it, the console comes with a bunch of rubber inserts (cupholders, floor plate in front thingy) i might move it back to console and cover that big fugly hole with the plastic mat. i'll let ya know as i have a good supplier on these lol. too bad i can't find a 5spd one

yeah pics of the 98 too pls. i guess there not enough room to keep the stock radio console?... not a huge deal... can relocating it fairly easily up top there anyways eh.
