Door Locks?

Has anyone found a replacement door lock with some durablity.My orginal 92 the passenger side never worked since I bought it 4 yrs.ago then several months the driver's decided to quit( on the main street on the small town I live in) while i"m trying to break into my own truck an O.P.P cruiser passes in 1 direction,then go's around the block passes me again(while I've got the coat hanger still in the window channel),then proceeds to go around the block to pass me again,then he stops.Staunders over to me & asks me ,did you lock your keys in ,no,I got them right in my hand,the lock won't turn(this happens right outside the only barber shop in town,on a Sat. aft. so you can guess the how often the story got bastardized ,I'm still answering questions at the bank,video,grocery,post office,hardware etc.) anyways he calls another cop who is in the area who pulls a B&E artist dream bag out of his trunk & had me inside 45sec. flat,I'd been at it close to an hour.To make a long story short I bought another 92 parts truck,1 of the first things I check are the door locks,both work a little stiff,get the truck home,take the door panels off ,lube,now pass. side doesn't work.I don't mind carrying an extra key,but, something I can rely on.Thanx jpp
