just like the title sayes... how do ya remove the inside rubber seal at the bottom of the windows on the doors? I want to get that piece out of there so i can tint the windows nice and easy. fighting that double lip at the bottom of the window seems like it would be quite a pain in the ass.

Ohh and its a 88 B2200. I haven't really looked into it much on the truck, so im hoping its something easy to remove. thanks in advance

helllllooo out there... anyone? Is this not the right section to post window trim / tinting questions in? There has to be someone on this site thats tinted there windows themselves.

you can take the door panel off and reach your hand up towards it and just pinch the clips and push them up. or you can peel the piece away form the window as much as your can and pinch the clips, its usually easier doing it from below though

I took my ones off when I painted my 94, it wasn't too hard just reach up and you'll feel the clip, my ones needed to be twisted and pushed towards the glass but with a bit of time and effort they came off just fine... apart from the very front ones behind the mirrors, they were a totally different clip and I ended up breaking them.
I would suggest getting a mirror and a torch and using that to look up inside the door so you can see how they are meant to work.
I also took my glass out for more room first, but since you are taking them off to do your window tinting I guess that's not an option eh?

which ever is easier to do.. if i can pull the window easier then ill just do that

Yeah if you're trucks the same shape as mine I was able to take out the glass in about 5 minutes, (it comes out easier than it looks), just wind it down and look for the brackets holding the glass in, undo the 2x 10mm bolts that hold the glass to the bracket then slowly turn the glass towards the front of the truck, once it slips out of the window track you will find it comes out of the door easy as, then give glass a really good clean and apply the tinting film, sit it down and remove the other glass from the other door, tint that one, then put the first one back in, put the door panel back on then do the second door.
The time you let the glass sit helps the tinting film to stay on the glass as you're putting it back in, I was able to remove my panels and glass, tint them and put it all back together in about 30 min, all without any bubbles or creases in the tinting.
