where'd my dimmer switch plug go?!

Ok. I got my new truck and the instrument lights don't work. He said they jus stopped workin one day. (A lie of course). Well I got to lookin and I checked the dimmer switch. There was no plug plugged in, and I couldn't even find it! So where does this plug come out of the harness? I couldn't even find remenants of where it was cut off or anything. I'm lost. Anybody know anything? ? ? ?

its in the dash harness that stays in the dash if you remove it. chances are its either cut or dropped where you cant reach it.

Ok. Well that explains why I couldn't find it in the harness that's in my other mazda cab. I was under the dash reall

dude I'm in the same boat. I havnt tried looking for it yet. But I went to turn on the lights for the first time and they didnt come on. I moved it up and down and nothing. I flipped on the dome lights and the bezel was loose and the switch had nothing on the back of it lol

whenever i turn the parking/headlights on my \instrument lights don't work what else could be the problem? Sorry not trying to hijack your thread.
