Dash Paint

just painted my dash. did it properly. primer, base, pearl, clear. all prepped nice and everything. it was an acrylic enamel paint. i was just wonderin if it will last for long under the heat of a hot summer day when temps on the truck dash will be pretty hot. will the dash expand in the heat and ruin the paint? should i have used a special paint for the dash or do i have nothing to worry about. just wonderin what people usually do when painting dashboards

What part of the dash are you painting? the metal? the plastic bezel around th gauges? vinyl dash pad? what year? pictures?

like the actual DASH board not like the trim pieces even though these are all painted aswell. its a 91 b22 original dashboard.

The paint will not last long on the vinyl. On the plastic trim it might be fine depending on the prep work involved and if you used an adhesion primer. The metal parts will be fine
