I bought me a sewing machine a few months ago, The machine I got is a Pfaff with walking foot, welp foot and reverse. I have been practicing on some spare mazda buckets and this is the first ever set that I have completely stitched. Of course I have a few half covers that I screwed up on and threw away. But I think I'm getting the hang of it. These are not perfect, but IMO they look pretty good. Let me know what you guys think?

It's Black tweed, and red vinyl.

They Look good! sewing the 2 dissimular materials can be tough. next time make sure your bias's run the same direction and use a stretch stitch under lower tension on those seams. I love the combo of the colors and great job with tough materials

I made my wife a vest for Christmas last year using 200 year old Chinese silk for the back and heavy hand woven South American cotton for the front panels, I spent more time testing stitches than the actual sewing

Thanks. And by stretch stitch on the seams you mean the bars I sewed in across the red vinyl? correct? I never thought about lowering the tension, thanks for the tip

The tension will help with the small wrinkles in the Red panel and a stitch with a little give to it will help with the overall effect
