I need to replace the rear speakers in my extra cab and thought it would be easy to remove the panels. do you have to remove the back wall panels in order to remove the side panels? how do the fabric pieces come off?

yes the back wall has to come off to get the sides off, i thank the carpet part can stay but the top part has to come off, the carpets has push tabs to hold it on

yes back off

you need to pop the parts off above your doors too

and your upper seat belt bolts

After you do it once it's no big deal. I start with the 4 plastic caps over the rear seat back. After that it is all visible in the rear. On the sides you have to be rough, but gentle. In other words pull the panels hard enough to pop the clips out, but not so hard you break the 20 year old plastic panels. The top corners in the back are the hardest to get out, not because they are hard, but because you can't see them to tell which direction to pull. Good luck and remember if you crack it, it all looks RAD wrapped in tweed. -Ed
