couple nights ago i noticed when i step on break the ffull dash from heater controls to cluster lights turn on??? i have been driving this truck for bout 5 months n have done no electrical mods soo this literally happened by uits self... helllpp
so everytime you hit the brakes the dash lights come on? it sounds like an interference issue. you need to find where the wiring for the brake lights and the dash lights come close to eachother and try to see if they wires are melted together or if the insulation is gone on them and they are touching. from what you've said it sounds like thats your problem. i just had a corolla at work with a similar problem. every time you turned the left turn signal on the dash lights flashed. ended up being in the wire that ran from under the dash to the back tail light assembly.
have you looked to see if all your lights on? if they do it just may be in the rear plug at the tail lights, i had one do this, cuz the wire was not being held up any more and it rubed a spot in the wires....something to look in to
thnx for the input guys. mazda man u might be on to something. when i noticed it, it was the day after i changed brake light bulb. but right now in connecticut its crappy out so ima check first thing in the morn thnx homie
