So i went to wire in a deck for my 87 b2200 but only to find that somebody before me had messed around with the wiring. so instead of having the proper power wires i have a brown cable running into my relay box which was used to power the stock deck and i cant figure out which one the ignition power wire is..
what should i do? this is driving me crazy i need music for the road

you put your volt meter on the other wires one by one to see which wire has power to it when the switch is on and loses power when you turn the switch off.

i guess that would work.
the brown cable running from my relay box sparks when i ground it out. so theres definitely power to it but do you think thats enough to work as the 12v constant?

yes but make sure you fuse it and invest in a atleast a test light

the only problem is my truck didnt have negative wires for the rear speakers, any suggestions on how i could run some?
