I remember reading somewhere someone put a Mazda RX-7 steering wheel in there truck.
I have the opportunity to grab an '87 RX-7 stock black wheel that would be sweet in the truck..
Would this wheel bolt up directly? Or will I have to mod and all that?
You can loosen the not a bit and rock the steering wheel side to side while pulling and it will come of. The key is to leave the nut on or else the wheel will end up smacking you in the face, ask me how I know.
That trick will work in some areas and on some wheels. For the instance of my 89 though there was no removing the wheel without the tool. Even tried 'wiggling' it with a sledge hammer to no avail. With tool, out in 20 seconds.
