stereo relocate done

For 24 years I put up with the stereo being hard to access in the stock location so yesterday I moved it up to the pocket below the vents,I wish I would have done it when I bought the truck new in 87.wasnt to bad the worst part was i had to eliminate the duct work right behind the head which leaves the vent setting in my truck useless but doesnt affect anything else.I can finally see the controls without taking my eyes off the road so much

You can keep the duct work...

Heat gun and a board works wonders, heat it up and push it up/back with the board.

never thought of using my heat gun fortunatly i just pulled the vent out and didnt cut it all to hell so I will give that a try thanks!!!

how hard was it to do move it? I'm thinking about trying it myself haha

Yep. It isn't difficult at all, just takes time.
