assuming you have a 32/36 DGEV which means electric choke, on the face of the choke there are three small screws, loosen BUT do not remove them!!!! then grabbing the cap of the choke, you can rotate it left or right to adjust the choke plates properly. when closed, obviously the choke plates should be closed to within 1/8" of closed. then fire it up after tightening the three screws back down without overtightening the ears!!!
once the vehicle warms up and the idle drops once the high idle cam clears and the idle circuit falls onto the low idle cam the choke plates should be completely vertical or dang near it.
