Speaker mounting depth

Alright I blew me a speaker in the front of my 87 b2000 cab plus. Just wanting some specs on the stock speakers so I can make a quick purchase. Searched an haven't Found much info. Thanks in advance!

4 inch speaker size, should bolt right in.

I have yet to pull the speakers so I don't know how deep of a speaker will fit

Pull a speaker. Two screws for the cover, three mounting screws. Push-on connector.

I've replaced my speakers twice in 20.5 years and didn't have any issues.

The dash side air ducts get into the way of the speaker magnet.

Thanks. Started to order some with 1 7/8 mounting depth but went for something a little shallower just to be safe.
