Aight this is what I plan for my truck:

Statig drop as she is for the most part, so don't bring up baggin....yet lol.

1. Similar paint to the factory white maybe just a lil more cream mixed in to make it an old school white.

2. Red old school rat-rod type pin stripes down the side, tail gate, and hood.

3. Either old Chevy rallies:

, or a moon type wheel like this: (don't think I'll find some I can tuck, if not that's ok I think she looks better with some meat hanging out)

4. Wood bed floor

5. Body matched interior plastics...of course.

6. Low back buckets, one day leather maybe but for now just tucked cloth.

7. Suicide flip hood.

8. Streetrod type mirrors.

9. Some kind of billet polished interior bits and pieces. Even consider doing a complete gauge set up.

10. Don't know what I'd do for tires quite yet. I like being low some 50's are a neccesity for the front, but I'd love some white walls lol. The rear will be like I have now prob, 215/65/15's, maybe I'd go down to a 215/60.

I think she'll be sweet, and wish I could do a photoshop of it but I not that good lol.

Other ideas?

I personally think you should definitely go with the "Moon Type" Wheel!

Something similar to Maztang's '83! His ride is dope!

I always look to the old Courier's and B2000 when I am in need of a little old school!

I meant to say it earlier, but your plans look GREAT to me!

Hopefully they all come true for you!

Good Luck!

thanks for the props dev. appreciate it. i love the 83 a lot, just wish i could drive it more. haha.

1hotdawg...i love the plans for your ride. either way you go on the wheels stated above would look sweet. the only suggestion i would make is to get something that will tuck. i love seeing some beefy tires but only on something that is going to be raced. just my .02 on that though. post up some pics when you get into the progress.

If your looking for the "smoothie" wheels for your 86-93, you won't find them in the right offset. The closest they make puts your wheel about a half inch outside the body. I'm not too sure about the rally wheels though.

Yeah that's what I figure too Sierra. They'll be like my other wheels were:

Centerline makes blanks that give a real old school feel, but they can make them in the correct offset.

lol prolly pay out the ying yang for them too I'll look around. The wheels above are only about $50/ea so I'm liking them so far
