Project <81 Courier>

Hey whats up guys, im new to this site because i just found it, but i figured id join since i have a 81 ford courier that i bought from a friend for 300 bucks that runs. It has 108,000 original miles and is a pretty strait truck with very little rust on the cab corners that can be fixed no problem. It does have the 2.3 in it. Im really big into the s10s as i do have a 91 stockfloored and was featured in Mini Truckin' this recent janurary in the Under Construction zone but kind of got burnt out on it so i decided to build up my Courier and have some fun with it. This is what i plan to do with it as of now:
1. Z the frame to lay frame
2.Bag and traditional body drop it 2 1/4 inches to the rockers
3.A backhalf is going to built out of 2x3 by 3/16 box tubing and make bed mounts for the body drop and that will keep the stock floor in it also.
4.The motor will be pulled so im going to Por-15 it with the engine enamel kit Ford T Bird red. (the truck will be painted red), Also going to tub the front of the truck with trailer fenders.
5.There is some rust in the floor but can easily be fixed as it gets bodydropped.
6.Do some body work on the truck that i have started last night, there are some dings here and there but not bad at all, just little things.

Really the list goes on and on but thats just to get started on it, things will change from time to time im sure, but its a truck i want to make showable if i would want to show it but drive it and cruise with my friends. Im also a pledging member of Severed TIES out of the Tenneesse chapter and plan to take this to Slammin and Jammin' if everything goes well. Ill get some pictures of it up soon when i figure out how to do some posting.

nah man no loatp this year, gotta save money for the courier, if all goes well though ill have it at slammin and jammin.

glad to see you got on here jared. i should have that window out by thursday... give me a call i still wanna see how much difference there is in the motor mounts in a 2.0 and a 2.3 truck..

Im trying to find a good place to host my pictures but here is a few pics of my air ride, i didnt take a pic of my valves and dump controls but you get the idea. Also im going to run a torsion bracket set up on the front end. where can i go to post pictures on here, any help would be appreciated
