I got half of the floor stripped where it needs to be cut. Tomorrow I'll strip the rest and start cutting.

not to go off topic, hey twisted, i am getting ready to bag my mazda, i live in tulare, i've seen you in visalia before. How much of the front fender do i need to cut to be able to tuck cadi rims in there.

this thing is comin along nice, you do some nice work man, I thought I would share how I cut the tranny tunnel on a reg cab, I cut all the way down it to the end of the those 2 indented lines on top and when the floor drops it gradually slopes down that there is no step down or anything, makes it nice for keepin all the stock console and stereo box, but I have never cut where you did so I dont know how much a difference it makes

I cut it there so it wouldn't affect the shifter boot. The way the shifter is made, the boot wouldn't fit well if it dropped 2 inches. But I'm going to be modifying the crap out of the floor because a one piece driveshaft is going in.

that is an interesting way to cut the floor. Is that typically how you would do the firewall on a mazda?
