new guy with an old mazda

hey, im brandon from okc,ok. im new to the mazda stuff, i bought a 89 b2000 for 800 a couple weeks ago to work on, and i decided i would post up some progression pics. my plans are for bags, a full 4130 chromoly four link, sfbd, smoothed frame, 20+ wheels, shaved, and a big fucking motor. ive only got about six hours of work into. also i just relized yesterday, that im working on a truck that ive never even driven. my buddy dropped it off and i started to work on it. so far ive got most of the driverside notch done and about 90 percent of the drivers side frame rail smoothed out. i bent up a crossmember. not much but its a start. anyway heres some pics. more to come.

thanks, yea all it needed when i bought it was a head gasket and then it would run perfect and the bodys really straight for its age.

Good work and ya that truck is in great shape body wise for what you payed for it

well i got the drivers side completly smooth, i welded up and smoothed all the holes (all 1 million of them) and smoothed out the bed mounts flush with the frame, i also welded up, and smoothed out the lip from where the two peices of c channel that form the frame meet. ill put some pics up tomorrow hopefully.

damn you said old mazda i was getting happy, Sounds like you got big plans for this beast, im glad to see you take pics and document this. I will check on this daily.
