bed clean up

im getting ready to notch my truck and was wondering what all i needed back there. like all those metal lines can i remove them and re route them? also whats the best paint to paint my frame with?

por 15 for the frame

por 15 is a sealer, a lot of people use it, i personally dont like the look of it. but it does the job and does it well, when applying it take your time and make it look good

yeah my friend told me about it. is it easy to use?

i have personally never used it, but i hear its kind of difficult and to where long sleeve shirts and gloves, cuz it doesnt come off your skin, also to take your time.

when using por 15 make sure you have gloves and are covered welll theshit takes for ever to get off buty the good thing is use it and then paint what ever color you want right over it and do not leave it in the sun the shit fades really quick Cid and I have found that out should have clear coated it after we were done but the stuff is the best.

so you POR 15 it and then paint it and it still fades?

Theres a topcoat for POR 15 that makes it really glossy and UV resistant. Heres the link:

no if you paint over it it will not fade but if you leave it as is and let it be out in direct sun light it will fade so if you have the box over it it will stay shiny.
