Project :Blastations 87 Mazda Build

Well i finally get to start on my mazda after sitting here for about 3 years, I took all of the fenders off and hood and bumper and bed. will start to work on the front and c-notch soon ordering parts but i started prepping the fender and painted it the color i am going to shoot it. Its the Paint shop system by duplicolor, and so far i have to say its pretty nice for being a all in one, no mixing. just pour and shoot. this is the deep blue and i added a couple coats of flake and 2 coats of clear just to start it off what you guys think so far





those are my cadi rims, dont have tires but hopefully soon when i get the bag brackets. I might paint them black also since i am going to be painting the top section of the fender black.

i like that color man. whats the plans for the truck?

hopefullly full bag set up, full tweed interior with some fiberglass, lots of chrome in the engine and under the bottom. but will work it slow, had one custome car, currently got import racer custom( Daily driver). This is going to be my full custom for me and my son who is 3, so i got plenty of time i am doing all the work bag set up and paint and interior and fiberglass so wish me luck.

well got the bed off, and am getting ready to clean up frame and paint it to match the rest of the truck. will also start cutting and welding the 4 link soon will take pictures periodically to keep updating on progress. Here is a picture of the bed of the truck, dont look to bad got some rust but will work on getting it nice and smooth. will take more picks while i'm working on the truck

well i he are some progress pick i know it slow but i'm getting t here. Got the tank off, which wasnt to bad to remove except the bolt under the cab. Thank god for air tools. Got the muffler off and also the spare tire off. Also started to cut some of the excess metal that i wont need for now like center cross member, muffler brackets etc. will hopefully start to clean up the frame remove some wires etc to get it more open so can sand the fram smooth and get it ready for the notch which i still have to order. but i think i am ordering the front first. dont know yet well here is the pictures







The last picture is the cross member that i need to cut but wont cut it till the notch and the bridge is on. Also funny thing about a saw-sall, if your not watching what your cutting you might cut a brake line Doh. Oh well will just have to buy a new one and chrome it.

well just picked this up from a guy on craigslist. 5 gallan Chrome tank with 4 - 1/2 port. I got it for 20 bucks which i think was a pretty good deal

that color is badass man, almost like the subaru rally blue.
id even think of painting the rims gold
