well, the truck has just been sitting in the garage because i haven't had time to work on it. i have been working 6 and 7 days a week and the wife works nights so i have been watching the kids and remodeling my oldest daughters bedroom. but now that is all over. the wife is on days, the bedroom is finished and my truck is broke. but i did get some stuff done. i started to pull the tranny until i noticed my exhaust is in the way. the way that we routed it put it very close to the tranny so i had to pull the engine. i could have cut the exhaust but it is all to pretty and the engine only takes about 30 minutes to pull. so i finally got it pulled and found my main problem. the clutch completely sheared from itself. i will have to post pics of what happened later. it must have been defective material though because there are no burn marks or anything, and i don't hotdog it, hell it is only like 90 hp. but, i got a new one coming and i am ordering my tranny rebuild kit tomorrow. since i already have it out and apart, i may as well go ahead and throw new bearings and seals in it. i will post pics soon. hopefully i can get this beast on the road again real soon!
here are the pics...
somewhat what it is supposed to be like..
and how it is, don't know how the hell this happened but it did...
and here is how the tranny that i will be using looks like right now...
