So How much articulation Is there on the rear? Just curious.
87mazdamini   +1y
Seems like there would be alot.
twisted minis   +1y
Probably. I haven't checked it out yet. When I get the axle back in I will measure and let you know.

I about went nuts trying to get this tank to sit square in the frame rails, until I stuck a fast 90 against a corner. Then checked all the corners to find its far from square...

I'm also really not digging the star. I don't think it looks good in there, but he wouldn't let me talk him out of it.

i'd say the stars on the frame for strength look nice but not that one in the middle. it just stands outta place and makes it look more cluttered.

where'd you get that gas tank at and what kind is it, did it come with the anodized fittings and fuel pump too cause i need to order that whole setup.
twisted minis   +1y
There is no fuel pump in the tank, just a fuel pickup (read: gas gauge). Tank is from Summit, about $175. The fittings you have to buy yourself, because there are about 10millin different types. The fittings on this tank ran about $130.

those are expensive fittings! how many were there for $130? AN i assume?
twisted minis   +1y
Yeah AN. There are 9 total to get down to 1/4" fuel line. Fawking stupid. It cost my friend less to plumb his in stainless for 3/8" and 5/8" line.

I talked to the owner, he loves the star, its staying.... He said the fact that not everyone likes it makes him like it more. That would explain the purple I guess.

AN's are shitty expensive, but worth it. they never fail if done properly. i do stainless brakelines and fuel lines sometimes at work. shit's bomb. can't wait to do my own!

Yeah I probably would have sprung for the stainless lines and cool guy fittings, black anodized if it was me. But this guy is funny about where he drops his money. Its all about looks to him. I'm more about function.
