finally crossed over.....

i got rid of my bagged v8 S-10 and got a mazda today. it looks a lil rough and needs some TLC but should be a pretty nice truck when im done. it's already bagged front and rear, BD'd and doors are shaved. i need some interior, few pieces of chrome and a calicombo to clean up the rear. gonna try to get some pics up tomorrow

heres the passenger front bag thats duct taped up....


heres the front of the motor thats taken apart and covers are no where to be found...


airlines ran across the motor and are rubber hose and hose clamped together...no wonder they leak like hell...


body isnt too bad but does need work...





bed needs to be rewelded and cleaned up.


so far i see i need to cut all the suspension out and re do it all..front bacs are rubbing like hell. rear bags are welded in all crooked. notch was done no where near the correct way. Finally i'll move on to the bodywork and interior. Plans for the motor are a SBC/TH350 and ditch the 4banger

it's gonna be a while before she rolls out of the shop but i think it will look pretty sweet when i get it finished.

what is scary is all the suspension was "suppose" to have been done by a shop. All the airlines are rubber hoses and hose clamps, front bag has duct tape on it covering a hole, all the bag brackets are home made, the rear bags collapsed are all crooked and looks like a blind man welded them in. the notch is welded to the top of the frame and thats it, doesnt look safe for shit

RE-7 up front? That will be neat to see, I know the RE-6 takes some frame cutting...
