Thanks Todd.

I am a little bummed about my lack of progress this weekend, but it was my birthday and I got a little f'd up on Friday night. So, I didn't get as much done as I thought I would. Saturday, I did change the pitted chrome door handles and locks out for the ones I had stashed away. Also my son and I took out the seats and door panels. I dropped them off at my upholstery guy and he ordered a carpet kit for me. I would have ordered one through the guy on here, but this one was about the same price installed. I couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, my daily is now down for two weeks, but if anyone on here knows upholstry guys, It will probably take a month! I tell him I need it in a week and expect it in a month, that way I don't feel the need to strangle him for being late. The bumper has been filled, primed and re-sanded. I will reprime tonight and finish cleaning the plastics. Simple green works well. It was literally caked with bugs and they just hosed off. I also picked up some 3m epoxy bumper and trim paint ( Satin Black). It is in a spray can, so I hope it turns out well. If all goes well, it will be painted tommarrow night and assembled/installed on Wednesday. As always, pics to follow.

did you ever get the howl figured out?

No, but it seems like it is the pinion. I changed the gear oil and no change. Since It will be parked for a few weeks, I am going to send the drive shaft out for new u-joints. Then it will go to Max. He is gonna put shocks on it and probably change the rear for the one I have spare. I am also thinking of finding a narrower one. My rear axel could stand to be about 2" narrower. I am not looking to change lug patterns on this one. I like my wheels.

You should find a pathfinder axle. There around 2" shorter.

Yo...Today had its ups and downs (a little air bag humor). This morning I decided it would be a brilliant idea to smash the side of my Dodge into a concrete pillar. I was in the parking structure of an under construction building for work and the laborer on the job parked a forklift with a dumpster on it behind my truck. I was trying not to hit it and slid up against the support pillar. Just as I was trying to say every curse word I know in one sentance, my uhpolstery shop guy called and said my seats were done. I went over and got them. I drove home and bolted them in. They look tits! I also changed out the white faced gauges for the set I got with the tach. They even work! So today ended well any way. The door panels will be done next week and so will the carpet. I got a little extra carpet for the rear wall. I still haven't got the paint on the bumper right, so that is still on hold.
