I dig the early 90s theme man. Good looking build!

Just read thru the whole thread. Sweet truck!!! If you wern't adding the shell I would be wondering where the rear window chrome was at.

Also the info on the oil cap is awesome. Guess I need to start lookin at Honda caps.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

As far as the headlights go, I have decided to keep the stock set-up. I will use the Rangers on the roadster. I had the escort lights on another truck, but I could never adjust them properly, no matter what I did they would aim at the sky.

The shell will be repaired. I decided that Mazdaman82 has the right idea. I am going to re-inforce the shell with tube steel around the back window and front bulkhead. Then my body guy said the fiberglass could be fixed with "kittyhair".

"kittyhair" is good stuff, we used it when we shaved my friends tailgate on his s10

Kickass truck bro! I wish I could find an injected 2200 here in Kansas! I have NEVER seen one here! LOL!

I read the entire thread last night when I couldn't sleep. Love the build.

You still plan on keeping with it being '91 correct?
badchicn (rick)   +1y

Yeah, I think it was California's radical smog laws. I own two, both 1991s , both injected B2200. One stick one auto.

Thanks, Yeah it will be mostly 91 correct. In 91 it would have had air shocks not bags. I am going to try to keep the look period correct. I am looking for a car phone now and some other must have accessories.

That\'s sick. The car phone just took it to a whole new level. I love \"period\" builds. I take it you\'re going to hunt an old head unit down as well?

I\'m going to be building mine mid to late 90\'s style since that\'s the mini\'s that determined I must own one eventually. I really think it should have a set of old bolt on wires or other high offset rims, but the old polished wheels are so sweet.

I am already running an early Alpine pull out CD player. Circa 1993. I am planning to have a "vintage" system in it as well. Kicker 12" speakers, Orion red amp, and an early pre-amp eq.
