Hey everybody.
This is the Story of How I got my truck, What has been done to it over the 2 years, and What Im going to be doing to it.
(I named it the Yo-Yo because of how many times it's been lifted and lowered.)
It isn't show worthy, or anything like that..but its something I enjoy working on.
If you feel like reading/looking at what I've done to my truck in the time I've had it, read on.
Im going to start working on it pretty much everyday again soon, at the end of April..once school is done.
Please leave some comments and tell me your opinions, and leave me some ideas!

I bought this truck in June, 2006 for $600 in Thunder Bay, from a buddy. It needed a transmission and a few other things. Before I bought it, The truck used to have 2 18"s and hit around 150dB.

Bought some 00 GMC Yukon Denali rims for $200. Got them machined for $140 (I know....I know.....), Tires and Balancing for $500 in December 06, and threw them on the same day. Yep...Late winter.

One week after they were put on, drove across Ontario. Stupid me, look where it got me by the time I got to Sudbury...didn't have time to change the rims.

Got sick of the whole lowered thing by Spring 07.

I tried selling my Denali's for the longest time with no bites. At the same time, I heard about a carshow in Winnipeg, Manitoba..8 hours from where I live. I said hey...maybe I'll try this again. I picked up some 4" Blocks as opposed to the 3" I had before and lowered it again one afternoon.

31"s in the front, 33"s in the back..no lift. At this point I had decided that I wanted to build something big. Building this truck for clearence mostly now, not going to be taking it through the mud or anything like that...But it will still be very capable.

33x14.5 in the rear, 33x12.5 up front with no lift. This is the point I am at right now. I want to put a 3" bodylift and shackle/balljoint spacer lift in.

Damn I didnt realize your truck had been up and down so many times. I always liked the way it looked lowered with the denalis. Lookin forward to seeing how it looks all lifted up though. What happened to your box?

Thanks, I think i might do another mini a short while down the road with Denali's or the new Chevy 20"s
The box was a victim of a little hit and run in a parking lot just before christmas. Im going with a flatdeck, But also cutting about a foot or so off the frame at the same time.
