Where are you implying a gusset would go?
speedster93b   +1y
either forward or backward from the motor mount tab. i just like gussets. i honestly don't see the rotational force of the 4 cyl engine moving forward or back especially with a solid tranny mount, but it just seems fairly long to not have a gusset. don't get me wrong, it looks sweet and will probably be fine.

The bushing isn't really wide enough to get much of a gusset going to the side. The passenger side mount is also about half that length. Also I doubt a 90 cubic inch motor with 45 horse will be able to hurt the mounts any.

Okay I finally got a bunch of pictures off of my camera.

Heres Jerome in the truck.

New front crossmember because the Toyota frame is longer and I couldn't fit the stock one back in. Too bulky.

Laid out with the front sheetmetal in place.

Rear brake lines, wiring, engine plumbing, fluids, air system, seam seal and paint the floor, build bumper mounts, build the bed, build a hood, and a bunch of other little things I know I am forgetting. I have a big list written out on the windshield. It seems like every time I cross one thing out I add two things on.
