^ That truck is really cool, but its an NL320.

Thanks man. Hopefully it keeps up, because once I move into the shop I can't afford for ti to slow down much. Lol.

Anyways, bed is unbolted, just waiting for someone to get here and help pull it off. I've got the notches and bag cups finished up.

hell yeah man. can't wait to see this on the ground. i saw the one that mazdamn posted at texas showdown last year and it is really bitchin! doesn't this truck belong to a guy on here or something? i have seen it somewhere before.

^ No. The owner doesn't have internet. He's a local guy though. He's been coming to club meetings and events, and I have some classes with him at the JC.

Made notches, and upper bag cups for the back. Pulled the bed. Some genius in the 70s decided it would be cool to attach the gas tank to the bed floor.

How much do you think you will have to BD it? I think these were pretty close to the rocker from the factory. (I had a 69 static dropped and hung up on the rocker in my Dad's driveway) Maybe just relocate the body mounts?? I can't wait to see it!

^ It needs a 3" bodydrop. The frame is 4" tall and the rocker only hangs below the frame an inch. I was talking about a stock floor until I got under the truck. It would have a 2.5" channel in the cab and no room for exhaust....

The weird thing though, is it needs less of a bodydrop in the front than the back. The whole truck sits on the frame at a rake. Not sure how I feel about that yet. I might try to drop the rear cab mounts to reduce the amount needed and level it out a bit.

Or the front body mounts are just shot and need replacing? Not sure, haven't done too much inspecting as of yet.

3" bd wouldn't be too bad, I am 6'1" and if I remember right, it had plenty of head room in it. I had a my 91 B2200 seat in it. A chopped one would be wicked though.
