not lately,havent had the chance to work on it

well i finally got a chance to do some work on the truck.the biggest and hardest thing to accomplish was rebuilding the engin x member which after drawing it out and a LOT of planning it actually turned out to not be so hard to do. i made a lot of progress considering i only worked on it for about 3 hours.

notched the tubing for the lower control arm mounts. this took fooorrreeevvveeerrr since i had to use an angle grinder.

mocking it up and measuring it out.all i have to do now is cut and weld the tubing to connect it to the frame.i will have it finished with more pics tomorrow IF the weather clears up.

This is the whole reason i z'ed the front crossmember 3/4". This is why i didnt want to just drag it off. Truck is lookin good, glad to see your workin on it again.

welp, now that i have a shop i have been working on the old thing again with more motivation than ever. i work two jobs and take care of the lady and the kid and still manage to make it to the shop and work on this bitch.pretty excited now that i have my front suspension coming together, repaired one of my can do arms so that saved me some money.there are still some gussets that need to be added,the engine xmember needs to be finished. i also thought about removing the plates that connect the front clip to the frame and putting a better design on it cause it looks like shit.

when i clicked on page 3 and scrolled down and saw the trailer hitch thing welded on the fron it scared the piss out of me and i was like WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO!!! and completely read the whole thread to in end noticed it was just on to probably get it to the shop or something....i thought you threw in the towel and decide to make it a trailer for a second...more like minutes.. but yeah good to see you arent.
