Well, probably should have started this a long time ago - but...

Figured I would start it now seeing as the end is near and its time for some painting fun. Will do my best to keep the pic whores happy

Probably the earliest pic of what I was given to strart with. Had to fix the fender cancer, the poorly shaved gas door, and the shaved seam at the taillight housing.

Wow! I like the dragon! Did you lay a basecoat of some color first before you started brushing?

That is gonna be cool when its done. Your painting this yourself?

Thanks! Started with grey sealer primer, then a layer of semi-gloss black. Then a layer of dark green under the dragon followed by various darker greens and lighter greens.

Thats the plan for the moment. May need to get some help when I get to the candy green but will see.....

Well it certianly scratches easier than glass.... but it's not to bad. Use a little windex and a soft towel and the inside looks like new. Havn't really gotten the outside to dirty yet so can't say for the long term. Would imagine if there is some minor scratching, normal paint finishing would probably work just fine.
