ya i'm not a big mono leaf fan, you could prolly get some metal for as cheap as anything else you would have to try and make a 2 link

This is one i made for my buddies s10... He got the metal from his uncle. Jus ask around, see if you can find someone with some scrap metal you could have

As long as you de-arch it cold it wont snap or break. I have been on a de arched mono for over 3 years now. The dangerous mistake people make when de-arching is heating the spring to remove the tension. If you do it with a press and make small reverse bends close together and it will be safe. Just so people dont think I'm talking out of my a$$, I use to work for a shop that custom made springs.
One things that sucks about that style 2 link is you dont get any articulation and can get stuck in driveways. I'v done the same concept, but insted of bolting the link directly to the axl, I used two bushings per side(one in front and one in back of the axl)to allow for flex. You also need a panhard bar for this type.

Spring shops can dearch a spring easy. Its safer to ride with a 3" dearched spring than a 3" drop block.
