i got this truck last year around halloween--same week as booger bash.
I went on mautofied and was lookin for something project wise for under $7000, when i stumbled upon this one. I was aiming for a minitruck that had A/C ( impossible to find), so i gave that search up and went for a fullsize with A/C...this one has both A/C and heat with 20" wheels while layin frame.

To make a story short...quite a few thing were already done to it, shaved emblems, stake pockets, 3rd brake light, tail lights, tailgate..and the usual suspects except the door handles & locks. I got it while it was in grey primer, front was still white. So after i bought it, my dad & i painted it industrial satin black & put a set of LED taillights in the tailgate.

the rearend is my main problem i want to fix as well as some interior sound system stuff. The rearend was built by the guy previously, i have no doubt with the work he did, its definitely built right, but the functionality for a dialy just isnt safe enuf for my intentions. It consists of a contitech triple convoluted airbag (1), and it runs on sliders pockets up & down over the axle, which its definitely a different and odd design & would be cool on some sort of show truck, but not as a daily. It will be torn apart this winter & fixed with slam specialties re7's and 2 new c notches.

and be easy with the comments, ive been raked over the coals on other forums because of the way this thing has been setup. Believe me, it rides decent with this setup...but im with others, its not what i want.

yeah believe me it'll clear out a 6 gallon tank real damn quick too. my viair works overtime for that damn thing. Overall in the rearend i have 21" of travel and can tuck 24" wheel easily. Give me til winter & it'll be doin side to side and all that jazz

Nice to have another A.I. member on the site. This is definately the best place on the net for advice. Look thru a few of Twisted Mini's build threads - definately a good fabricator.

i think that set-up looks pretty cool/different. i personally never seen that before. the only think i would change is the front bumper, not a fan of kits like that.

anyway nice truck

the front bumper is all steel, the lower parts the only thing thats ABS plastic...

uh oh, the front doesn't lay out? and i definately understand why you have that big box covering the rear bag.
like others said it should be an easy fix for ya. and hopefully you can cut out the inner wheel wells in the front or whatever is holding you up from sitting level.
