not a mazda but i figured i'd still post this here since i dont have a mazda anymore. i finally got started on this truck after having it for about 12 years. i picked it up for $50 then knowing that someday id get around to it. i spent a couple days stripping it all down and am pretty much at a point that i need to bring it up to our shop before i go any further. ive got quite a bit of plans for it right now: bags, bodydrop, motor swap, right hand drive swap, full time roadster.... well onto the pics of it as it sits right now after i stripped it down.

^^actually it already is. you can see the bottom edge of the steering wheel in the second pic. it was done by the previous owner because there was a huge ass canopy on it when i bought it.

What motor are you putting in??

its gettin a 12a rotary. its the motor thats sittin in the bed

Ah.Always nice to hear about another rotary swap.Mine runs good in my truck.I would love to see it in a light little truck like that.

i finally got everything sorted out at my new place and finally have a garage and time to work on it. i got the frontend off of it besides the passenger fender. there still is a couple rusted bolts that need to be drilled out on it. i took the motor out, tranny tunnel and tranny is unbolted, i just need to drain it. the first cut was the hardest to make on such an old, rare, low vin truck but theres no turning back and no regrets. just got one pic before the camera died.

can't wait for progress on this, bro!
