I'm starting a photo post from the day I got the truck to the present, and update every so often. I got the truck back in June or July, don't remember. Paid very little for it, $1150 to be exact. To date I have less then $300 in it, and it looks like a complete different truck.
I'm also going to put a few pictures of the "dog house" (garage).

Here's what I have done to it. Repainted the grill, bumpers, B-pillar covers, and mirrors. Painted the wheels, calipers and drums. 3" blocks in the rear and turned bars up front. Tinted the windows and added a strip of tint to the windshield. Installed a old school Pioneed casette deck playing through some old 6x9 speakers behind the seats. GM radio antennea since the stock one was broke. SunPro mini tach, seat covers and carpet squares for floor mats. Neon lights are installed in the bed, and an semi trailer side marker light under the dash (red). Storage box bolted in the bed (good place for tools and tie down straps). Chevy full size truck tail gate cap (cut down to fit, and it fits better then I expected it to). Electric fan installed replacing the engine driven one. Silver lettered tires (sharpie markers work good on tires).

Future plans are to do the B2000 cam and lifter swap, and maybe bag it, it will be quite awhile before bagging if I decide to go that route.

The day I brought it home. The topper was the first thing that got removed. Took it off within the first 20 minutes of owning it.

The interior was this nice and clean when I got the truck.

Lowered and lookin better.

GM antennea mount with a Shorty Custom antennea.

Continuing on.

Installed the electric fan today. I tried to use all factory parts, Mazda fan, and a GM relay. The fan shroud should have been bigger, but I'm sure it will work fine, if the truck starts running hot I can always find a bigger fan.

Lighted switch on the dash, mounted the the guage cover thing.

Here's my "dog house", I like it better out here then in the house. LOL

No freezing my butt off when it gets cold. 24 gallons of propane and 80,000 btu's of heat.

Entertainment area. Stereo speakers are placed throughout the garage.

random pics of the rest of the garage.

B2000 cam and lifters safely out of the way.

That cam shouldnt be layed on its side like that, it will warp in no time.. usually you leave em point up

The cam is being supported on all of it's lobes, and it has a nice coating of fogging oil on it to prevent corrosion. It'll warp even like that? Maybe I'll go out and stand it up. The emblem was a junkyard freebe, I'm still looking for a free Beretta and Grand Prix emblem, then all the cars will represented.

I've done some work to the truck, not a whole alot. Had the exhaust redone. Straight pipe from the cat. custum bent pipe over the axle and a stainless steel Gibson 4" tip. It's pretty quiet, even without a muffler.

I removed all the stock vaccuum stuff related to the stock carb. and installed a Weber 34/34. The engine bay got a good powerwashing. The Weber really made the engine come alive. Yesterday I replaced the valve cover gasket. The valve cover bolts were all loose, and the gasket had peices of it missing, I'm pretty sure this was my massive oil leak.

Just to show you all, this truck is a working truck. 620 pounds of rock in the bed. I still an inch of clearence before the axle hit the frame. One of the pictures is the scrape mark int he driveway from the exhaust tip, stainless steel tips will support the weight of the truck and not bend.

haha! Pretty cool! I love your garage...exactly the direction my old one was taking too! I even had some of the same banners!

So you say its pretty quiet with no muffler? I know these are the lowest HP vehicles ever.....I just wonder about backpressure? I havent made the decision on the exhaust yet...in time

I love the idea of the neons in the bed....those are pretty cool!

When I dropped it off at the exhaust shop I told guy to put a Thrasher Turbo muffler (Flowmaster knockoff) on it and put a tail pipe on and used "this" tip. I got a call later on that morning the went like this "Yo' dude, you ain't gonna beleive this, but your truck is quieter without the muffler then it was with. Do you still want this new muffler put on?" I told him no, straight pipe it. Still have the two factory cats. then straight piped to the back. With the tip on acting like a megaphone, it's got a nice sound to it. Kind of rumbles at idle and just alittle loader at cruising speeds.

My garage no longer looks like that. It's all insulated and sheeted with 7/16" OSB. It's nicer now. Warm, no noise from the outside.
looking at the front wall. The other picture is looking towards the back. We closed in the loft storage area and made it into an attic.

still a cool looking garage....just reminded me of how mine was going (I did have a HUGE ASS Miller Lite and AZ Diamondbacks stuff....lol!)

Ah I can wait to have a garage again.....A nice spot to work in...the womans car nice and safe and a place for me to do my thing without the world watching.

Just before selling my house I had gotten all my stuff to polish everything like a charm,,,,almost chrome looking by the time I was done. I miss so much of my stuff. :\
