tank mounted. both compressors will be viar 420c's should have great recovery times plus im not very switch happy so that will be enough air for me.

here is an actual 420c mounted up. the other is a 45o i think. all i got left fabing wise is make 2 gussetts per side on the bag brackets and tabs for the fuel cell to mount to and battery trays fabd up.

i have a whole lot of grinding and bodywork to do on the frame as it will be painted a burgundy red and most parts will be a vanilla white. all the lines will be stainless and valves will be 3/8 smc's.

nice truck man. shes a beauty. what size rims you running?

Nice work, glad to see the truck back in progress mode...

I would have gone with dual 480C compressors considering two 420C cost about the same....but that's if you want to run 200psi

Should be a good setup..

thanks for the good words. should have some pretty reg. updates now. i actually redid the whole firewall. different tubs got the brake pedal and gas pedal mounted. im waiting to finish it up then ill give some good pictures. i have to raise the driveshaft tunnel. and work the back of the cab, put in my b-pillar fillers then its ready for bodywork. the fenders just need the corner shavers and they are ready for bodywork to.

on the interior it will be a custom sheetmetal dash with the long slim dakota digital gauge and a kenwood excelon dvd deck then it will go down in to a console that will have a rachet shifter and 2 jl 8s then go up behinde the seats kinda like a corvette. the seats will more then likely be out of a corvette or svt cobra. sheetmetal door panels and a sheetmetal headliner probably. i want it to be like a brushed all metal look with tan leather seats and probably grey carpet. and a billit wheel and rearview mirror.

the paint schem now is brandy wine red on the bottom and vanilla cream white on the top with a chrome grapihc breaking the 2 colors toyota tacoma projector headlights with the hid conversion. still the 4 runner bumper and bumper cover. shaved corners, emblems, antenna, side mirrors, re worked drip rails, shaved gas door, body panel lines, taillights and a cali combo with a custom led setup in the color seperation line. im keeping stock hood and 2wd sheetmetal! the 2 colors will be the same in the engin bay and in the bed.

the wheels are 24x10 diablo delta force's. tires are 255/30/24 toyo proxes. it will be finished off nicely with a set of ssbc 13inch sloted vented rotors up front and a 10 inch break conversion in the rear.

thanks for the good words. i got my eyes on the prize and im going straight for it now.

on the compressors id rather have quicker recovery times the 200psi. but i may switch so i can go to 175psi. not sure yet.

I hope you aren't planning to go over 150psi with those 420C compressors? They are only rated for 150psi max....

That would be an accident waiting to happen...lol

na. if i run the 420's im only going to 150. i need to feel the tank to 150 and then air the front up and see where it will be before i decide 100%. but i know for sure i wont run the 420's over 150. thanks for the headz up though. i was going to just run nitrogen but decided i didnt want to have bottels back there.
