man that cab floor looks awsome. looks like it came from mazda that way. too many people try to push through a bodydrop and cover it up with carpet. its whats under the carpet that counts. be proud of every aspect of your truck and dont be afraid to show any part of it. your truck is truly one of those great builds.

Thanks alot Mikey, those words mean a lot man!! Its nice to know people appreciate your work. Its just like you said I would hate to have it all hacked up under the carpet. So I did try to make it look like it came that way with how I did the wheel tubs, firewall, and the body drop.

Ok so I havent been on here in a while. Today I installed drop spindles and all new ball jounts up front. Getting ready for my new wheels! Should have the 18s soon. Another thing I am working on is putting another core support on the truck. Its a long story. I bought one from China online. Well come to find out new when I am putting the truck together some stuff just isnt coming togehter how I would like. So I went to a local wrecking yard and picked up a pefect core support off of a Mazda. That is now going on the truck. So did a little cutting and will hopefully have it on the truck soon. Ill get some pictures tomorrow.

Well guys today I broke down and bought a new toy. New welder to finish my truck. Its a Lincoln Electric Power Mig 140C with gas. Got the cart and everything in a package deal. This should do the job to finish the Mazda.

LOL Never thought I would say the same thing but.... Have owned the purple truck since May 1990 so it's entirely possible the family might even bury me in the thing.

okay cuz it has the same front end and paint as yours it was at mazdafest with the matching minichopper i saw it in oregans craigslist and i thought it was yours. thanks for clearing that up
